The Jew, the Racist, the Zionist-Who is the real enemy?

Many times we have come across these terms being intermittently used to describe the oppressor who continues to aggravate the Palestinian plight. But who then is the actual culprit? Is it the average Jew who celebrates Hanukkah and reads the Talmud? Or is it the Zionist who champions the cause of a separate Jewish state in both the legislative and operational levels? Or can it be the plain old Racist who has a bone to pick with anyone categorized as "The Other"?

To find out let’s have a look at a simple experiment carried out by a set of actors who stage a pre-scripted scenario. The experiment carried out which is in many ways is similar to Augusto Boal's Forum Theatre aims to measure the degree of reaction it stirs up in the unsuspecting persons visiting a gas pump in a Jewish neighbourhood.





I have forever campaigned for justice to be meted out to the Palestinians which they very well deserve, and I have always opined that the actual problem lies in racism and not in religion! Racism leads to Zionism and Zionism does not lead up to Judaism!

It is an unfortunate coincidence that the average Jew in Israel is brainwashed with a racist ideology which is in principle contradictory to the teachings of their scriptures. The educational curriculum, legislations passed and Religion is used as scapegoats by extremist elements in both camps to further the Arab-Israeli divide. The solution to the 60 year old conflict lies in having empathy and understanding towards the other and to respect the differences which are an intrinsic part of the values for which we stand for. Majority of the folks who happend to be caught up in this experiment looked beyond the rhetoric and connected humanely to the issue at hand. John F. Kennedy was right when he said:

Our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal.

“Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).” (Al-Qur’an 3:185)

The world burns and WE dwell on its ashes!

I was browsing the internet till I came across a video which changed my whole mood. The thirst to catch the previous day’s six nations rugby highlights on youtube was bitterly quenched by a video which happened to be posted on my video feeds.

I fail to comprehend the silence in which the world seems to watch the atrocities carried out by a supposed Democracy on a helpless nation. What is it so dreadful that the Palestinians have done to the Zionists such that they deserve to be entirely cleansed from the Ancient Lands? A suicide bomb here and a car bomb there is no match for the targeted rockets that the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) so frequently dumps on Gaza and the West Bank. Some even say that Palestinian kids could one day grow up to set a meet record in the Olympics for the “Put-Shot” event with all the stone throwing practice that they seem to get for free. Understanding the essence of this conflict makes us differentiate between a democracy and an anarchist rule.

Evolution reversed - from humans to being animals!

War has forever bewildered me. The reasons for war are not hard to find but identifying the motive behind waging war is an entirely different thing. I have always been curious to know what runs through the mind of individuals involved in warfare. I know people who loathe eating meat or seeing animals being slaughtered for meat. The human psychology dictates that a sense of compassion is felt toward all lives be it human or animal. If this statement bears true, what makes the human race to be at the forefront of soiling their hands with the blood of their fellows? This question has intrigued me thus far and will continue to do so till I breathe my last.

No war has hit home hard as much as the Middle Eastern conflict between the Arabs and the (rogue) State of Israel. I am guilty as charged for not having the same intense feelings for the Muslims, Tamils and Sinhalese who were plagued and are still continuing to live the harsh after effects of an Ethnic Conflict in Sri Lanka. This statement should not be misunderstood. I feel for my fellow country men from the bottom of my heart and detest the state of affairs of the people living in the IDP camps conveniently forgotten by the people in power. However, there is something in me towards the Middle Eastern conflict that gives it precedence over conflicts in my backyard or other conflicts triggered by invading nations in Iraq or Afghanistan. This feeling can only be felt and is hard to put into words.

The creation of The Rogue State of Israel and the Muslims attitude to the conflict will rarely change. Israel will remain the spoilt child and the Muslim and Christian Arabs will continue to be their toys to play with as they please. Muslims believe that no foreseen change will occur to the essence of the Middle Eastern political affairs till the second coming of Jesus occurs in his mission to reunite earth. This being said in no means justifies the inhuman course of action followed by the Zionist regime and in no means provides an excuse for the Arabs to let themselves be trampled over.

The sentiments felt by Muslims around the world are nothing new to me. The mixture of anger, helplessness and bewilderment on seeing the gory images of slaughtered Arabs that go unpublished are ever too familiar for me. This gave me the impulse to explore the other side of the story, the Zionist outlook on things.

I was first introduced to intelligence warfare by reading the book “By The Way Of Deception" authored by former Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky. This book provides an inside account of how the affairs of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and the Israeli Intelligence defies the realms of humanistic behaviour in search of politically backed goals.

The results obtained left me stupefied at the audacity in which the Zionists carefully mapped out their heinous crimes. In no means do we doubt or deny the intelligence of the Jewish people, they have been in the forefront of innovative discoveries in the last two centuries. However, what petrifies me is how such an intelligent people are brainwashed by the Zionist government to fight a war that’s not theirs for a country which was not theirs!

This video details the experiences of six women soldiers and explains how working at the Israeli Military shaped their lives. The intensity of brainwashing and the authority given to the women soldiers over all Arabs young and old, male or female made me wonder what the men folk would be learning from their commandoes at the same camp. This is indeed a question which can be answered but can in no means be justified or explained by the rules of international warfare!

Opressor or the Opressed?

I came across this website sometime ago and liked the balanced approach it presented toward the Israeli – Palestinian conflict. The following words were extracted from one of the comments posted in response to a video shown on the same web page.

I am a Jew (by my mother) and a Tunisian (by my father), French citizen, without any religious belief.

People of my family died during World War 2, and I had no circumcision since many boys in France died because of it (German soldiers identified Jewish boys that way).

When I see what Israel soldiers do, I feel shame. Personally, I never could press the trigger if I knew that my missile will target a crowded area, and when I see the face of these Palestinian kids, I cannot help viewing this old picture of that terrorized Jewish kid in the ghetto of Warsaw, raising his arms with German soldiers laughing in his back.

I do not support Hamas neither, but I feel that Palestinian have no other choice than that.

Once more, Israelis should remember the insurrection of the Warsaw ghetto. In the end, people put gasoline on them and ran towards tanks. They knew that they would be killed anyway, so better die while trying to kill enemies. Don't you feel that, from a Palestinian viewpoint, the Hamas is pretty similar?/em>em>


As human beings we should stand up against such atrocities and create a balance between identifying a freedom fighter from a terrorist. The key to this is empathy or putting yourself in the shoes of the oppressed. Our safe houses and relatively calm dwellings do not trigger this feeling of empathy and we sit on watching intoxicated by our whims and pleasures.

Sadly Sri Lanka too is undergoing a similar fate where innocent civilians are being slaughtered for the actions of another and the blind masses keep fuelling the war machine to do its destructive deed. We cannot be mere onlookers, but should work towards bringing a voice to the voiceless in every area of conflict!

If Americans knew what Israel is doing!!

My internet connection is too slow to keep up with live news telecasts as and when they happen. This made me take up the habit of keeping in tune with the latest events via youtube and other supplementary video sharing networks.

I came across this video when searching for video evidence of Israel's latest terrorist tirade in attacking the helpless civilians in Gaza. Sadly i didnt find much and youtube takes an attitude no different to the self censorship and obvious bias that the mass media and popular media adapts with regard to this conflict.

This video is titled "If Americans knew what Israel was doing!", the rest of the world is no different in terms of being misinformed. Lets hope common sense prevails soon and that the world takes a more active attitude towards bringing a stop to such attrocities not only in Palestine but also in other occupied lands where the violent actions of a minority outweighs the deafening silence of the good folks!

Open Letter to President Elect Barack Obama by Dr.Mahatir Mohomad.

Each New Year begins with hope and this year is no different. New Year resolutions are made and broken, so are the hopes of people. Barack Obama the most popular symbol of hope this time around is silently counting his steps to the White House. The expectation for change lingers on in a typical year baptized with the blood of innocent people. We can only HOPE that he does not prove himself to be The Typical American President that the world had seen in the recent past.

This is an email I came across which may or may have not originated by the said author. However, the points made stand true and will prove to be critical factors in distinguishing the revolutionary president elect from being a Revolutionary President!

Dear Mr. President,

I did not vote for you in the Presidential Election because I am Malaysian. But I consider myself one of your constituents because what you do or say will affect me and my country as well.
I welcome your promise for change. Certainly your country, the United States of America needs a lot of changes.

That is because America and Americans have become the most hated people in the world. Even Europeans dislike your arrogance. Yet you were once admired and liked because you freed a lot of countries from conquest and subjugation. It is the custom on New Year's day for people to make resolutions. You must have listed your good resolutions already. But may I politely suggest that you also resolve to do the following in pursuit of Change.

1) Stop killing people. The United States is too fond of killing people in order to achieve its objectives. You call it war, but today's wars are not about professional soldiers fighting and killing each other. It is about killing people, ordinary innocent people by the hundreds of thousands. Whole countries will be devastated.

War is primitive, the cavemen's way of dealing with a problem. Stop your arms build up and your planning for future wars.

2) Stop indiscriminate support of Israeli killers with your money and your weapons. The planes and the bombs killing the people of Gaza are from you.

3) Stop applying sanctions against countries which cannot do the same against you. In Iraq your sanctions killed 500,000 children through depriving them of medicine and food. Others were born deformed.
What have you achieved with this cruelty? Nothing except the hatred of the victims and right-thinking people.

4) Stop your scientists and researchers from inventing new and more diabolical weapons to kill more people more efficiently.

5) Stop your arms manufacturers from producing them. Stop your sales of arms to the world. It is blood money that you earn. It is un-Christian.

6) Stop trying to democratize all the countries of the world. Democracy may work for the United States but it does not always work for other countries. Don't kill people because they are not democratic. Your crusade to democratize countries has killed more people than the authoritarian Governments which you overthrew. And you have not succeeded anyway.

7) Stop the casinos which you call financial institutions. Stop hedge funds, derivatives and currency trading. Stop banks from lending non-existent money by the billions. Regulate and supervise your banks. Jail the miscreants who made profits from abusing the system.

8) Sign the Kyoto Protocol and other international agreements.

9) Show respect for the United Nations.

I have many other resolutions for change which I think you should consider and undertake. But I think you have enough on your plate for this 2009th year of the Christian Era.
If you can do only a few of what I suggest, you will be remembered by the world as a great leader. Then the United States will again be the most admired nation. Your embassies will be able to take down the high fences and razor-wire coils that surround them. May I wish you a Happy New Year and a great Presidency.
