They walk past us not noticing our gaze,
their heads hunched over their eyes in a daze
wearing a skin too big for their frame
whether you smile or not, for them it's the same
The times they've seen we've seen not,
Their eyes all teary their mouths in a froth
So young we are but yet so blind
to the feelings that run on the aging mind
